Kathleen
Putnam MS RD and Minh Hai Tran MS RD are both registered dietitians.They have extensive experience
in nutritional counseling, public speaking, education and medical
nutrition therapy.
Kathleen has spent fifteen plus enjoyable years as a dietitian and lifestyle coach. She co-founded NutritionWorks Consulting over ten years ago and loves working with people to improve their health, reduce stress, and to live the highest quality of life possible. Kathleen feels particularly passionate about supporting individuals, parents and families in making healthy life choices. One diet does not suit all and Kathleen enjoys partnering with her clients to improve their relationship with food, their body and ability to live the fullest life while reaching for their goals. Kathleen and her associate Minh-Hai enjoy working together to bring the best methods and information to their clients at NutritionWorks.
As a nutrition expert and parent coach, Kathleen currently consults with organizations to support program development, including Regence BlueShield. She has extensive experience in coaching, educating, and presenting the latest material to reach a wide range of clientele including parents, children, bariatric patients, eating disorders, diabetics and persons with cardiovascular conditions. Kathleen has incorporated counseling, public speaking, education and medical nutrition therapy into her practice. She worked extensively with Swedish Medical Center in the Dean Ornish, Cardiac Rehab and wellness programs. She is certified as a parent coach, EBT (Emotional Brain Training) provider, and Shapedown provider for pediatric obesity. Kathleen has contributed to professional writings, hosted message boards for WebMD and EBT, and a talk show on VoiceAmerica. Kathleen spends her down time with her hubby Mike and daughter Hope traveling as much as possible and when not...biking the trail, swimming, reading books and trying to grow a garden.
Minh-Hai is passionately committed to coaching others to live vibrant, healthy lives. As a certifiedIntuitive Eating provider, she particularly enjoys helping others practice a healthier, more peaceful relationship with food.Minh-Hai is also a board certified specialist in sports dietetics (CSSD), recognized as the premier sports nutrition credential in the U.S.
Minh-Hai’s specialties include compulsive and emotional overeating, eating disorders, metabolic disorders, sports nutrition, bariatric nutrition, and optimizing wellness for busy people. Her non-diet approach has been endorsed by DailyCandy, and her health perspectives have been published in The Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, Seattle Metropolitan Magazine, and more. Minh-Hai also enjoys writing Nutrition & the City, a fun monthly blog for Girl Power Hour. Prior to moving to the Northwest, Minh-Hai worked as a consultant, writer and speaker in the vitamin and supplement industry in her hometown, Dallas, TX. She has consulted with the Dallas Mavericks Basketball Team and has been frequently featured as a guest on The Ticket sports radio station. Also, she enjoys being an active member of The Center for Mindful Eating.
Minh-Hai's educational background includes a master's degree in Nutrition with an emphasis on Clinical Counseling from Bastyr University, and a bachelor's degree in Dietetics from Texas Christian University, where she also completed her dietetic internship in order to become a registered dietitian (RD).
Minh-Hai loves working with Kathleen at NutritionWorks and is also available to see clients at Seattle Performance Medicine in Fremont two days a week. Additionally, she and Kathleen have co-founded Zing bars, a line of deliciously different energy bars, with two other registered dietitians. Aside from her work, Minh-Hai finds time to enjoy traveling, karaoke, yoga, movies, trying new restaurants, and being a fair-weather Dallas Cowboys fan.

Sibel
received her Masters in Psychology Counseling at Goddard College,
and is currently a PhD student at Saybrook Graduate School and Research
Center. Sibel has over 15 years experience working with adults,
couples, families, children, and teens. She provides a compassionate
and respectful environment that nurtures self-awareness and change.
Sibel works with others to find an optimal balance of emotional
well-being, creative and spiritual practice, physical wellness,
and clarity of mind. Sibel has a humanistic and transpersonal psychology
foundation, with expertise in creative arts therapies. She specializes
in healing from eating disorders and body image issues.
Sibel enjoys spending time with her family, viewing art, as well
as creating it, finding inspiration in the natural world, reading,
and having a good laugh!
